The Caribbean is generally divided into three areas.

The Western Caribbean includes Cancun, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. Costa Maya and Progresso and are often combined with cruises to the Central American countries of Belize and Roatan.

The Eastern Caribbean includes Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and St. Martin.

The Southern Caribbean includes Nassau, San Juan, Aruba, Barbados, Curacao, and the Bahamas.

The Mexican Riviera is on the Pacific side and includes Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas,
